Thymosin Alpha-1 is a 28-amino-acid peptide originally derived from thymic tissue. It has been extensively researched in relation to immune-system signalling, including T-cell function, dendritic-cell activity and immune response modulation.
Compared with many investigational peptides, Thymosin Alpha-1 has a substantial history of human research and has been used as a medicinal product in a number of countries for specific indications. However, those clinical uses do not apply to this SerenQ research product, which is supplied as a research-grade material.
