SerenQ MT2 10mg Peptide Pen

SerenQ MT2 10 mg contains Melanotan II, a synthetic seven-amino-acid peptide developed as an analogue of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH), one of the body’s natural signalling molecules involved in the melanocortin system.

Melanotan II has a cyclic structure that makes it more resistant to breakdown than natural α-MSH. It interacts with several melanocortin receptors rather than acting on just one, which is why it has appeared in research covering pigmentation, appetite signalling and other melanocortin-controlled biological processes.

Much of the pigmentation research focuses on the MC1 receptor, which is involved in regulating melanin production within melanocytes. MT2 has also been studied at receptors including MC3 and MC4, giving researchers a broader view of how melanocortin signalling affects different systems in the body.
