HCG is a naturally occurring glycoprotein hormone produced during pregnancy. It has structural similarities to luteinising hormone (LH) and is researched for its interaction with the LH receptor and associated reproductive and endocrine pathways.
HCG has an established history as a pharmaceutical medicine for specific clinical indications, including certain fertility-related uses. However, those licensed uses do not apply to the SerenQ research product, which is supplied as a research-grade material rather than as an approved medicinal product.
